Position Summary

Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and oversee functional analytics requirements  
  • Establish Analytics Strategy that is fit for purpose, today and tomorrow 
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Data Architect partners to stabilize and improve existing requirements and functional use cases and to design, deliver, and improve future requirements  
  • Ensure the Procurement Analytics roadmap commitments deliver expected value on time  
  • Drive improved stakeholder satisfaction and alignment  
  • Coach and mentor team members  

Strategy & Integration:  

  • Identify opportunities, recommend strategic solutions, and develop overarching Solutions that equip Procurement with insights that drive decisions and strategy 
  • Develop and oversee targeted analytics roadmaps for their respective Teams 
  • Lead functional analytics roadmaps focused around enhancing capabilities, delivering ensuring supply value creation, and integration into daily processes   
  • Generate status reports and meeting cadence that can be leveraged with stakeholders  
  • Optimize BI platforms by determining how best to use existing data analytics, architecture, and technology, and where to make improvements 
  • Execute on POC's with new technologies, drive innovation and new ideas 

Project Management  

  • Oversee the portfolio management process 
  • Manage alignment process between the Procurement Analytics team and the Procurement Leaders 
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder requirements for prioritization, resource allocation, and clarity to project owner upon assignment 
  • Conduct proper stakeholder management to ensure all parties are aligned and updated throughout project life cycle, while applying agile concepts and methodology to analytical work 
  • Work with the Digital Product Manager and developers to ensure data functions meet business requirements 

Analytics Development   

  • Manage Special Projects, POCs, and Ad-hoc project work 
  • Oversee full development lifecycle, ensuring quality through testing, monitoring, and support. 
  • Guide Developers from use case concept to experimental design to industrialization / deployment to end users  

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; Master’s degree is preferred 
  • 3+ years in analytical capacity building automated solutions 
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with physical and relational data modeling. 
  • Experience with Databricks, AAS, and Synapse within a Microsoft Azure environment 
  • 1+ years in an Analytics Manager/Lead, Product Manager/Owner, IT Project Coordinator, or similar role in a related field  
  • Proven ability to create and manage a robust Project Portfolio and Delivery Roadmap within Analytics, IT, Data Management, or a related field 
  • Proven ability to implement analytics solutions and IT transformations across complex organizations  
  • Proven ability to optimize processes and develop overarching strategies for integration  
  • Experience with large implementations of new technologies, such as Azure, is a plus  
  • Advanced knowledge of Data Analytics and BI concepts and tools  
  • Proficient with SQL 
  • Advanced Power BI skills 
  • Intermediate in Microsoft Power Stack 
  • Familiarity with advanced programming languages (R, Python, C / C++, Java) is a benefit
