Position Summary

The Marketing Specialist will provide Category marketing teams with comprehensive support, necessary to maximize workflow and efficiency of a large and diverse team. In addition, supporting (as appropriate) the Channel and Communications team.
 
The ideal candidate must be exceptionally well-organized, highly proficient with project management and data analysis, and be comfortable managing tactical/administrative needs of the marketing function. Moreover, the candidate must be a self- starter and willing to work in a very fast-paced and dynamic business environment. 
 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Administrative & Strategic Lead: 
    • Manages on behalf of marketing team the creation of PRs; issue of POs; and approval of invoices for marketing expenditure. Communication with suppliers as necessary to answer queried invoices
    • Provides monthly status of PFME expenditure, to Heads of, ensuring any blocked invoices are reconciled and paid according to Nestle payment terms
    • Manages use of corporate P-card and purchases approved by managers for items such as shipping, temporary contractors, and external supplier invoices, label and graphic printing
    • Responsible for all samples; tracking of and shipping of samples as necessary; and ensuring that product is available for meetings, customer presentations and in office ( both products and equipment)
    • Manages and keeps up to date all GS1 data across both Food & Beverage business, working with internal and external departments as necessary
    • Keeps up to date the Marketing OMP and ensures team are prepared for functional and leadership OMP meetings
    • Owns and manages all “team rooms/share-point” rooms used by marketing function
    • Co-ordinates the provision of monthly information for local, regional and global meetings (success stories)
    • Manages SKU’s data in system, moving from Z4 to Z5 as necessary
    • Manages customer requests for information as necessary (including information such as recipes, nutritional information,
    • Liaising with Archway as necessary on POS materials and ensuring stock levels of key marketing materials are maintained
    • Team/NP Customer Event logistics (booking, displays, catering coordination)
    • Travel & Expense system superuser (Concur), travel organization, creation of Travel & Expense reports for VPs and Director(s) of Marketing
    • Agenda/calendar management for VPs and Director(s) of Marketing: meeting schedules, agenda coordination
    • Other duties as assigned
       

Requirements

  • High School Diplomat required and minimum 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates degree preferred
  • Critical and strategic thinker who can manage the details
  • A strong sense of urgency
  • Able to work autonomously but also operate as part of a team
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple functions and strong ability to build relationships and credibility quickly across functions and levels within the business units
