Position Summary

This role provides first line support to business users across Nestle North America (NiNA) to ensure adherence to defined processes and procedures in an effort to raise data quality. Emphasis of the role is placed on interaction with the sales account managers to increase their level of knowledge of sales and trade processes. Troubleshoot and resolve raised issues using strong analytical abilities. Escalate unresolved issues to IT & Vendor business partners to ensure resolution. Requires solid business knowledge of Nestlé's trade related processes as well as the enabling systems (Osprey). Role entails execution and / or creation of business reports and analysis performance to ensure data integrity. This position is critical to the continuous improvement of trade data quality of the NiNA Sales Division's Category/Customer Account Managers and Business Managers' (CAM/CBM) plans. It requires excellent communication skills and accountability for quality deliverables.


The candidate needs to be located at one of our NiNA headquarter locations in Seattle, WA; Arlington, VA; Solon, OH; or St Louis, MO.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first line support for CAM/CBMs through daily inquiries, communicate data quality issues, and work with them to resolve
  • Conduct and deliver end user Osprey training as necessary and drive for design of System Improvements
  • Develop and execute user acceptance testing scenarios for specific enhancements to Osprey
  • Perform analytical research to resolve raised issues or data anomalies
  • Communicate, escalate and track unresolved issues to drive resolution
  • Create, develop and deliver related business needed reports to ensure data quality
  • Communicate current issues to various end user groups and management
  • Analyze product hierarchy change impact to Osprey and CAM/CBMs and approve/disapprove 
  • Coordinate with Category and Shopper Development/ Consumer Development/ Commercial Development approved product hierarchy change activities to minimize impact to billing and financial postings
  • Ensure Osprey readiness for annual Sales planning
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Sales Finance/Revenue Growth Management teams, field Account Managers, Kantar (Osprey Vendor), Osprey IT and occasionally Master Data, Category/Consumer/Commercial teams, and Customer Service 


Requirements: 

  • Solid business knowledge of Nestlé's trade related processes 
  • Understanding of consumers goods sales and trade concepts is required
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Products; Intermediate Excel required
  • Must display a high degree of patience & due diligence in working with end users
  • Effectively handles pressures and demands of multiple customers and competing priorities
  • Strong analytical, technical and problem solving skills are required
  • Attention to detail with focus on accuracy and high standard of work
  • Must be able to balance technical skills with business knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and with others to conceptualize and formulate solutions
  • Ability to put together large sets of data for reporting and analysis purposes
  • Make accurate issue assessments and formulate questions to gather additional information      
  • Must be persistent and drive for results
  • Ability to establish a course of action to successfully accomplish a goal 
  • Possess effective written, verbal and graphical communications skills, inter-personal and leadership skills
  • Consistently challenges current status and recommend improvement
