The Order Fulfillment Manager oversees the Order Fulfillment team within the Business Service Center.  This team manages the stock allocation process to prevent shortages to customer sales orders to maximize service and customer satisfaction.  Allocations are based on business rules and customer prioritization provided by Sales and Demand Planning to reflect commercial strategies.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES:

 

Leadership:

  • Manages and oversees to order fulfillment (OF) processes and activities completed by the OF while ensuring compliance to defined processes and procedures
  • Works closely with the Business Solutions Center (BSC to increase standardization and shareability opportunities
  • Leading the team towards a continuous improvements mindset in partnership with the BSC process optimization team
  • Oversees target achievements and KPIs, Health Checks attainment for the function and team

 

People Development:

  • Coaches and develops direct reports, assesses their readiness for new roles and identifies individual development plans
  • Manages performance of direct reports including regular check-ins and performance evaluations

Operations:

  • Participates in Commercial Demand & Supply Review (CommDSR) to understand potential out-of-stock and optimize the appropriate strategy for allocations
  • Guides the team in executing the aligned strategies form the CommDSR to ensure stock allocation based on business priorities and customer prioritization
  • Provides input and direction to the OF Specialist on parameters that have an impact on the allocation process and manages the setting in cross-functional alignment
  • Participates in cross stream projects as required
  • Participates in functional and cross-functional Operational Reviews
  • Understand customer and business initiatives that impact the order fulfillment process and policies

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Undergraduate degree 
  • 5+ years experience in Supply Chain (e.g. Order Management, Distrubution, Inventory Management, Transportation, Demand and Supply Planning etc.) or related Order 2 Cash area 

 

SKILLS:

  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage and develop individuals and teams effectively
  • Strong negotiation and collaboration skills to influence stakeholders at all levels within the organization
  • Strong project management skills beneficial
  • Strong and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret data
  • Well-organized, methodical thinker with excellent decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in SAP, BW and Business Objects preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple priorities
  • APICS certification (or progress toward certification) beneficial
