As a People Analytics Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our One Operations HR Function by delivering data-driven insights, analytics, and recommendations that enhance decision-making and refine our overall HR strategies within Manufacturing and Supply Chain. You will work closely with HR leaders, business stakeholders, and cross-functional analytics teams to unlock advanced analytics and insights by integrating human capital and operational data. Your efforts will aim to improve the employee experience, inform our talent strategy, and evaluate their impacts on the end-to-end value chain. In this role, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in analytics consultation and stakeholder management, leading multiple key projects that bridge HR and business objectives.
Role & Responsibilities:
HR Strategy and Data Storytelling
- Serve as a subject matter expert in data-driven HR strategy, specifically as it relates to our corporate and field One Operations teams (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement).
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to understand organizational goals and objectives, aligning HR analytics strategies accordingly.
- Proactively identify opportunities and efficiencies through data analysis, prioritizing initiatives with business partners.
- Support annual and long-term strategy development with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to set measurable objectives and KPIs, and regularly track progress using relevant data.
- Develop a consistent value capture process for projects and initiatives to be utilized across the ABP team.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
- Proactively partner with HRBPs to bring the People Analytics service catalog and product portfolio to life.
- Translate complex HR analytics concepts and findings into clear and concise language.
- Lead collaboration between the analytics team and other Centers of Excellence (CoCs) and Functions, encouraging consistent knowledge sharing and end-to-end thinking on projects both within and outside HR.
- Coach and direct HR and People Analytics strategy with limited oversight from management, including managing multiple medium- to large-scale projects simultaneously.
People Insights and Analytics
- Embed analytics capabilities in the function via HRBP support.
- Assist HR in forecasting workforce needs, talent acquisition, and succession planning through workforce analytics.
- Conduct analyses on talent management, retention, and engagement to identify areas for improvement.
- Share key insights related to employee listening, including engagement surveys, pulse surveys, and lifecycle surveys.
Data Fluency and Culture
- Actively educate and promote data fluency throughout the organization.
- Provide training sessions or workshops to enhance employees' understanding of data analytics concepts, tools, and techniques.
- Advocate for data-driven decision-making by sharing success stories and case studies that highlight positive outcomes achieved through data analysis.
- Ensure that employees have access to relevant data and analytics tools, simplifying data access and promoting self-service analytics platforms that empower users to explore data and generate insights independently.
- Recognize and celebrate achievements stemming from data-driven initiatives. Highlight success stories, acknowledge individuals or teams who have utilized data effectively, and communicate the positive impact of data-driven decisions.
External Research
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in HR analytics, digital innovation, and strategic thought leadership.
- Research and recommend external benchmarks to support HR and business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience leading large projects with multiple stakeholders.
- 3+ years of experience collaborating with senior leadership to drive data-driven strategy.
- Proven experience translating data into insights and action through effective storytelling at various levels of an organization.
- Proven experience delegating work to successfully drive medium- to large-scale projects through others, either directly or indirectly.
- Proven experience in data analysis and advanced analytics, preferably with workforce data.
- Ability to handle highly confidential HR information in a professional manner.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- Experience with manufacturing and/or supply chain workforce analysis is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent consulting skills.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed.
