Position Summary

This role will perform, analyze, design, develop, assess, and deliver solutions that provide employees ability to excel. You will create train-the-trainer programs and deliver trainings to the Procurement Leadership Team. You will create processes catered to Nestlé in the Market (NiM), ensuring that the existing training programs are online self-service and can be maintained within procurement. 


Responsibilities:

Functional Training

  • Transition all current training material and “on paper” work into a living and breathing digital procurement training program, with appropriate connections to the non-functional training
  • Expertly deliver Procurement training material and coordinate subject matter experts to deliver other specific training
  • Develop train-the-trainer system to build procurement capabilities
  • Organize periodic reviews of training materials, maintain relevance and measure effectiveness
  • Identify new training needs and develop materials and method of delivery
  • Collaborate across NiM and be the single US point of contact for global procurement training rollout and content creation
  • Provide facilitation and consulting to strategic business units and/or functions as needed
  • Keep abreast of market information/best practices relating to adult learning methodologies, association matters, member issues, technology advancements, etc.

Non-Functional Training 

  • Be the procurement representative on all local cross-functional training
  • Work closely with Learning and Organizational Development and other teams to coordinate and link training with career path development. Ensure SharePoint or other content management systems reflects procurement in end-to-end development

Specific Procurement Areas for Training

  • Day 1 through Year 3 Procurement training program and schedule
  • Digital training, Sustainability training, Business Partner training, Category Management training, Business Acumen training, Procurement Leadership training, Procurement Finance 101 and 201 training (Both Direct Materials & Indirect Services and Materials)
  • Maintain Capability Assessment/building tool
  • Lead procurement orientation 
  • Interface with Nestrade on programs to meet our needs and provide consistency
  • Maintain all procurement associates’ progress tracking


Requirements:

  • BS/BA in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, HR, Organization Development or a related field required
  • 4 years of experience in Procurement roles, with demonstrated success in project management and presentation skills
  • Position requires up to 15% travel


Skills:

  • Strong willingness to learn platform facilitation, course design skills and procurement skills
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong organizational and/or project management skills
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex concepts in business terms and simple process flows
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with cross functional project teams on large-scale projects from vision through implementation
  • Ability to conceptualize, document and present creative solutions across all levels of the organization, with a strong ability to establish and maintain stakeholder trust and confidence
  • Strong analytical capabilities and interpersonal skills
  • Requires customer orientation, commitment to flawless execution and detail orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into simple process flows
