Position Summary:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a central role in the successful execution of digital projects within the food and beverage manufacturing sector, with a focus on industry 4.0 initiatives. Your responsibilities will go beyond traditional project management, as you will be responsible for ensuring strategic alignment, fostering innovation, and driving efficiency in production processes.

Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as you will be working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels within the organization.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

As a Senior Technical Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Leading the strategy and approach for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing digital projects.

• Defining and communicating project scope, objectives, and expectations.

• Identifying project resource requirements and resolving resource constraints.

• Building and managing project schedules, tracking activities, and ensuring deadlines are met.

• Managing roadblocks and implementing risk mitigation plans.

• Coordinating and facilitating project meetings and reviews.

• Providing transparency and communication on project status and risks to cross-functional team members and leadership.

• Managing project budgets and ensuring a commitment to return on investment.

• Ensuring project goals align with company objectives and are clearly defined.

• Executing change management for each project.

• Managing stakeholders and aligning deliverables; participating in portfolio management and maintenance activities

• Identifying continuous improvement opportunities in the digital space.

• Position will require 20-50% domestic travel.

 

Requirements and Education:

 

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/automation/science field strongly preferred, or equivalent experience.

• PMP Certification preferred.

 

Experience:

 

• 5+ years of project management experience.

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience with waterfall, agile, scrum, SDLC project methodologies.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Projects or equivalent tools.

• Strong presentation skills.

• 3+ years of manufacturing system integration experience (PLC, SCADA, MES, ERP).

• Applied knowledge and understanding of ANSI/ISA 95 Standard.

• Experience in food or beverage manufacturing preferred.

• Experience working with multiple cross-functional teams simultaneously preferred.

• Experience with process qualification and validation in the pharmaceutical or food industry preferred.
