Position Summary

Software Engineer for NP-USA will mainly be responsible for developing and managing complete custom software solutions using full SDLC lifecycle within NP defined framework. The candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting advanced technical issues with commercial applications, data warehouse solution (NP-Edge) and reporting platform (Power BI). He/she will actively participate in discussion for design and implementation of solution(s) for automation and monetization initiatives. The Software Engineer will report into the Senior Solutions Architect and will work closely with the Systems and Data team, Exceedra, SAP Master Data, IS/IT, SalesOps, Trade and Finance teams to provide technical and analytical support needed for NP-US End-to-End platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in software design and development for both front-end and back-end platforms, data management, understanding of SAP Master data structures, critical & strategical thinking, time management, cross-functional collaboration and experience working with high-performing teams. Understanding of trade and finance processes is preferred.


This role will be responsible for primary objectives:

  • Design, develop and support custom software applications for NP-USA
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues with applications
  • Provide technical support and required consultation on End-To-End platform
  • Advanced Technical Support of Commercial Applications
  • Support ISIT/Systems initiatives
  • Actively participate in requirements gathering, design and development of ISIT initiatives at NP-USA
  • Provide technical support post go-live
  • Automation & Monetization
  • Automate processes and create efficiencies using software development, AI & Machine Learning

 

Experience

  • MS in Computer Science or Data Science
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience of SQL Server with emphasis on writing advanced SQL queries, views and stored procedures
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience of C#, ASP.NET, R, Python programming
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience of software development tools like Visual Studio
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Experience with the software development including implementing designs and validating implementations against the original requirements
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, and source-code versioning systems
  • Working knowledge of Snowflake databases preferred but not required
  • Working knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning methodologies
  • Working knowledge of SAP Data & Structure
  • Working knowledge of Trade Planning & Management Platforms preferred but not required
  • Working knowledge of Foodservice Industry preferred but not required
