Position Summary: This position is primarily responsible for supporting the Vendor Life Cycle within the Source-to-Pay processes for all operating companies in the US and Canada. The role functions as the Local Data Approver within SAP and performs critical bank validation procedures for new supplier set-up requests and changes. The Sr. Coordinator monitors the global Center of Scale (CoS) to ensure vendor requests are processed accurately by the Local Data Initiators based on the agreed upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review data input quality performed by the CoS for supplier requests by validating against Nestlé data standards, supplier supporting documentation, and North American business requirements.
  • Perform critical risk review of supplier banking documentation and execute secondary/independent validation steps in collaboration with the supplier’s Accounting/Treasury resources.
  • Execute SAP Data Approval steps within Vendor Life Cycle in line with the vendor master SLA requirements, escalating exceptions to Master Data leadership for review and approval as appropriate.
  • Participate in projects related to data cleansing, including on-going analysis routines and deactivations of vendors, vendor deletions, data alignment, and other types of mass data changes.
  • Compile metrics used for monthly reports to monitor KPIs and compliance requirements, supporting stakeholders as needed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities using Nestlé Continuous Excellence/LEAN methodology, partnering with global CoS team as necessary.

 

Requirements and Minimum Education Level:

  • Associates degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience required.

 

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in SAP, or other ERP solution, vendor master systems, purchasing, accounts payable, or data analytics preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; advanced Excel skills (including vlookups, pivot tables, and macros) strongly preferred.

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in data entry and analysis, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Clear and concise customer service and communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and ability to execute initiatives to drive process improvements.
  • Ability to maintain and track status of large volume of detailed data.
  • Capacity to multi-task and prioritize tasks to achieve SLA requirements.
  • Persuasive problem-solving skills.
