The Senior Finance Manager Co-Pilot role is a strategic business partner to the Nestlé Professional Solutions Out of Home commercial team by directly supporting the Food Marketing team and partnering with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to drive results that meet or exceed business objectives for Nestlé Professional’s Food portfolio.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate business strategy formulation in partnership with the Food VP of Marketing
  • Responsible for the Scenario Planning within Monthly Business Planning and the resulting Dynamic Forecast for the Category
  • Needs to understand all cost and top line components of the P&L and to arbitrate between these P&L elements; collaborates with Operation Controlling, Sales Controlling, HR/MOGE Control and Planning & Reporting team.
  • Drives the Performance Management of the category
  • Ensures an efficient resource allocation process
  • Support the optimization of the product portfolio and the business Innovation & Renovation process
  • Support new business initiatives (e.g. new business model, acquisitions) from a financial perspective
  • Ensure a solid understanding of the value creation framework among the non-finance Business Unit peers
  • Provide executive analysis and insight on key performance indicators along with recommendations to guide management decisions. Prepare and deliver executive presentation of financial information.
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure strong management of product marketing budget and delivery of ROI objectives.
  • Develop and implement financial and operational processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial objectives
  • Coach and develop direct and indirect team members.

 

 

Requirements:

  • B.A. in Finance or Accounting required
  • MBA, CPA or equivalent experience preferred

 

Experience:

  • 7-10 years finance experience
  • Division co-piloting preferred

  • Excellent analytical skills/problem solving.
  • Complex financial modeling.                                                                   
  • Ability to drive change.
  • Understand profit and loss statements, ability to communicate with non-financial teams.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting standards and internal control.
  • Computer skills/system expertise (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, Hyperion Essbase, Power BI a plus)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver first time quality within deadlines.
