Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst Co-Pilot to join our team as a key member of the Supply Chain Finance department supporting the financial management of Total Waste (Finished and Non-Finished Goods). Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting decision making, influencing and collaborating on initiatives to reduce waste within the Supply Chain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, supply chain management, stakeholder management and data analysis.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and operations teams’ efforts to reduce finished and non-finished goods waste across the Supply Chain.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to Supply Chain Directors, Demand and Supply Planning, and Division FP&As to influence decision-making that drives waste reduction.
- Managing monthly waste reviews with division, supply chain and factory stakeholders
- Support the development and maintenance of waste-related models, and forecasts.
- Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting on waste performance including variance analysis, trend analysis and root cause analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of waste-related financial reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, procurement, operations, and NUSA divisions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
- Assist in the identification and implementation of process improvements and cost-saving initiatives within the waste management function.
- Generate and manage waste reduction projects from start to finish.
- Lead the digital transformation of total waste within the Supply Chain.
- Work on other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in finance, supply chain finance, or related roles, preferably with previous experience in Sr. Analyst finance role.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial analysis, advanced Excel skills, data visualization and modeling (Power BI).
- Excellent understanding of supply chain principles, inventory control methodologies, and financial concepts (e.g., Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, Accounting entries, Customer Order Fulfillment, Demand Bias, Days-On-Hand, Sales, Salvage, Production Overheads, Bad Goods Expense etc.).
- Proficient in using financial planning and analysis (FP&A) tools, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and data visualization software.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and generate actionable insights to drive financial performance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of supply chain management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and experience with accounting standards principles is a plus.
- Proven self-starter with a commitment to continuous improvement.
