Primary Responsibilities:

As a Senior Analyst, your key role within the Transportation Finance (VDE) team will be to provide financial leadership to the Supply Chain organization. Key aspects of the role include being an integral part of a cross-functional team, partnering to continue driving out inefficiencies while supporting the foundations of optimizing service and cost.   

 

Supporting Supply Chain Functions as their Finance Co-Pilot:

  • Support all cross-functional initiatives by providing clarity around financial impacts to decisions and opportunities
  • Present key financial results and drivers of cost to Supply Chain Directors monthly to provide clarity on results while providing recommendations
  • Lead weekly financial calls with operational teams to identify poor performance transportation lanes and carriers while recommending opportunities for improvement
  • Lead analyst supporting the various Transportation departments by performing savings validations and identifying other cost savings opportunities

 

Support Decision Support Finance team by providing a deep understanding of the Supply Chain cost drivers:

  • Tell the story for monthly variances vs forecast to financial teams as well as key Supply Chain stakeholders
  • Leverage key operational metrics to help translate operational performance into financial results
  • Perform a periodic forecasting review and update by articulating cost driver changes and their financial impact
  • Create and implement standards around our processes to ensure consistent, reliable, and efficient finance support to our customers

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Intermediate to advanced skills using the Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Proven track record working in cross-functional teams
  • 3-5 years financial analysis experience
  • Analysis, forecasting, budgeting experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience and comfort with presentations to groups and senior stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex financial terms and results to non-finance professions
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing projects and deadline
  • SAP or other ERP experience
  • Supply Chain knowledge a plus
