We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Specialist of Sales Training to join our Nestlé Out-Of-Home Sales team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development and implementation of product, solution, and skill-based training programs. By fostering skill development and delivering exceptional training experiences, you will contribute to our business success and service excellence. Our Sales training team is committed to meeting the evolving needs of our agile sales force, utilizing various formats such as classroom, virtual, and self-guided learning. Join us in building sales acumen by creating comprehensive training programs that focus on brands, products, solutions, systems, and processes, catering to our geographically dispersed Sales team. This role will be based in our Solon, Ohio office and report to the Senior Manager of Sales Training. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Leadership 

  • Is a knowledgeable expert of assigned portfolio and influences others.
  • Advocates across multiple functions to meet team member, customer, and consumer needs.
  • Communicates strategy and tactical plans to stakeholders up, down, and across the company.    
  • Has strong self-awareness, is a self-starter, and works independently with limited supervision.
  • Has the ability to prioritize activities and identify ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Demonstrates agility with an ability to quickly adapt to change and pivot, as needed.
  • Sets a high standard of excellence that meets or exceeds client group expectations.
  • Possesses a strong focus on needs of Foodservice customers, operators, and consumers.

 

Planning and Execution 

  • Connects overall business strategy goals to training program development and innovation.  Assesses Sales team to update situational analysis that influences risk, opportunity, and prioritization decisions.    
  • Identifies and executes process improvements, with a broad understanding of issues and goals.
  • Creates and facilitates workshops and webinars.  Develops and updates training platforms. 
  • Develops and updates training modules and tools. 
  • Owns Training program KPIs and related reporting. 
  • Identifies and evaluates training program innovation to be used for competitive advantage. 
  • Participates and/or leads projects as needed.
  • Works on customer-facing initiatives from time to time. 

 

Experience

  • 4+ years working on professional-level B2B Sales training programs
  • 4+ years presentation and training facilitation
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient PowerPoint skills
  • Competent Excel and PowerBI
  • Competent business and financial acumen
  • Experience and understanding of Foodservice channels, preferred

 

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
