Join our dynamic team at Nestlé USA as a Tax Team Coordinator. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and compliance support to our federal and state direct tax teams, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication across departments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Provide support to two teams within the Tax Department: federal direct tax and state direct tax.
  • Provide back-up for Tax Department administrative assistant, including assistance with Tax Department notice management for review, communication to relevant Tax Department teams, scanning, and upload to SharePoint, and corresponding with other departments for notices not related to the tax department.
  • Lead the payment process for federal and state direct tax purposes, including, but not limited to, request payments, coordinate to confirm payments are appropriately made by Nestlé, and track payments made to jurisdictions.
  • Manage the jurisdictions payments, including, but not limited to, regularly confirm payment methods required by each jurisdiction, confirm Nestlé internal processes are set up to align with requirements, and work with internal partners to ensure all Nestlé internal processes are updated for any jurisdiction changes.
  • Manage the direct tax SharePoint sites, including, but not limited to, scan and save payments, transfer returns and workpapers from third party co-source partner to Nestlé Tax SharePoint, etc.
  • Tax notice responses and management of notices related to payment matters.
  • Preparation of simple tax return workpapers and forms, as requested as well as preparation of Forms W-9.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of three years of administrative support or accounts payable experience, preferably in a corporate environment. Prior experience in communications is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), GLOBE/SAP, and other web-based tools.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently, make decisions appropriately, and manage time efficiently with minimal direction.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong skills in writing, proofreading, and editing content, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Team Player: Must be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills.
