Nestle in Springville, Utah manufactures Stouffer's Frozen Food.  This location has six production lines producing food up to 6 days per week w/ two 10 hrs shifts daily. 
Nestle is hiring for a Heat Seal Operator.

Primary Responsibilities:  
1. Sets up and operates heat seal machine.
2. Changes and loads film. 
3. Monitors sealing temperatures, air pressure, and sealing times. 
4. Checks for proper sealing and records findings every 15 minutes. 
5. Monitors transfer points before and after heat seal to ensure package transfer is 
completed without product loss. 
6. Operates Protein Detector machine and documents product rejects
7. Loads pictorials into Kliklok and clears jams. 
8. Restarts line when line is down. 
9. Ensures line is set at proper line speed.
10. Assists checkweigher with reworks.
11. Models the Springville Compass in all work-related activities. 
12. Performs all other duties as assigned by Team Leader.
 
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS                                                                                                                   
Bending, pushing, pulling 
Basic computer data entry is required 
Work overtime as needed 
High School Diploma/GED preferred 
90 days of food manufacturing experience working in a Nestle factory preferred 
Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written 
directions, signs, policies and procedures.

a. Must be able to read basic/standard English words and sentences to understand signs, 
policies, procedures, safety rules.

c. Must be able to speak and understand basic/standard words and sentences to establish 
and maintain a cooperative working relationship with others a collaboration as a team.
