Nestle is hiring machine operators specifically the Tisma. The shifts are 10 hr rotating shifts.
Tisma
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Loads pictorials and shrink-wrap material into machine.
2. Ensures proper day codes are stamped and recorded.
3. Keeps track of ingredients through proper use of DIS ingredient tally sheets and production return sheets.
4. Reworks damaged product i.e. bent cases, product without pictorials, shrink wrap, etc.
5. Clears jammed product using E-stops and proper safety procedures.
6. Watches overhead conveyors and starts up as needed.
7. Works push-outs as needed.
8. Performs daily MIR checks on finished case coding, sealing and print legibility according to the specified frequency.
9. Models the Springville Compass in all work-related activities.
10. Performs all other duties as assigned by Team Leader.
1. Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
a. Must be able to read basic/standard English words and sentences to understand signs, policies, procedures, safety rules.
b. Must be able to speak and understand basic/standard words and sentences in English to obtain and relay information on policies and procedures.
c. Must be able to speak and understand basic/standard words and sentences to establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with others a collaboration as a team.
90 days of food manufacturing experience working in a Nestle factory preferred
