As a Senior Business Analyst within Technical and Production, you will serve as a liaison between the IS/IT & Business Consumers and Customers. As part of the Product Team, you’ll bring a deep understanding of the opportunities and issues facing the Technical and Production function and provide advisement on the best Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions. Additionally, you will translate business strategies, opportunities, threats, and needs into IS/IT product requirements, and play a key role within the product team to specify, test, and deploy those as IS/IT solutions. This role will require traveling up to 25% of the time.

 

 

  • Support factory mapping for implementation of Digital Manufacturing Operations (DMO) projects, with focus on process integration; Configure DMO modules
  • Identify opportunities for improvement such as gaps in existing functionality, troubleshooting, process automation and driving the development/implementation process
  • Train super users and end users on DMO functionalities, and create documented training materials for the product area
  • Analyze, document, and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications
  • Support the analysis and resolution of solution issues as part of the third level sustainment
  • Design business scenarios and use cases for the product mix, including product introduction and the change management required to maximize its adoption, value
  • Work with IS/IT Product Managers to define the minimum viable product (MVP) that satisfies the need
  • Secure feedback that the MVPs defined will provide the desired value (MVP taste-testing)


REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in Operations, Operations Technology (OT), or Engineering Technology (ET)
  • Extensive knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), preferably AVEVA Wonderware


OTHER

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Engineering preferred
  • Experience with MS SQL Server preferred
  • Experience working within SAP preferred
