Position Summary
As an Associate Factory Quality Technician, you will be responsible for testing samples of our finished products and communicating those test results with the appropriate departments. You will regularly interact with Production, Maintenance, and Product Safety. You will have the opportunity to cross-train and gain experience in multiple areas across QA to strengthen your skillset. Quality and safety are the promises we make on every bag, container, tub, and can – and we continue to deliver on that promise.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain work area in a safe and sanitary fashion.
- Set up and maintain Sensory lab and product displays.
- Support Formal Release with First-Bag, Last Bag testing.
- Retrieve additional samples as requested for special audits, bacteria testing, hold orders, etc.
- Monitor product formulas for accuracy
- Monitor processing and packaging conditions to assure compliance to specifications
- Communicate results of testing to packing, processing and management personnel.
- Communicate effectively between shifts with other personnel.
Basic Qualifications (Minimum):
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years’ experience in quality, food manufacturing, lab, or related environment.
