Position Summary

As a Maintenance Mechanic, your role in the bigger picture is to manage the preventative and routine maintenance to improve the functionality and safe working order of our manufacturing equipment and machinery. **This position offers a starting rate of $28.35/hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus**

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Apply basic electrical and electronic principals in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of plant systems
  • Troubleshoot and maintain plant electrical and electronic equipment to competent level including operator interfaces, PLCs, process controllers, power supplies, etc.
  • Make minor repairs on general plant machinery such as fans, blowers, conveyors, belts, mechanical and screw conveyors
  • Troubleshoot, calibrate, and program VFDs and PLC systems
  • Install and maintain switch gears, control wiring and components, over-current and overload protection for plant motors including three phase systems
  • Read, update and build electrical schematics and documentation
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
     

Basic Qualifications (Minimum):

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 
  • 1+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military or related environment OR a two-year technical degree completed

This position has a starting salary of $28.35 an hour for Maintenance Technician D. The pay progression plan follows: Maintenance Technician C $29.10, Maintenance Technician B $30.60, Maintenance Technician B+ $31.10, Maintenance Technician A $31.60, Maintenance Technician A+ $32.40.It is our business imperative to remain a very inclusive workplace.
