As an Accounting Analyst, you will use critical thinking skills to support the daily general accounting activities for Nestlé Purina. This is not your traditional, transactional accounting role though. You will be part of a team that is the support hub for all finance groups across the organization. You will work cross-functionally across all levels of the organization to ensure our financial data is entered and flowing through our systems correctly to facilitate accurate and timely business decisions.
- Perform general accounting activities including journal entries, banking activities, data health checks on financial postings, and account reconciliations.
- Perform period end close requirements to ensure monthly financials are accurately stated.
- Support the implementation of digital tools and technologies to streamline financial processes and reporting.
- Perform Master Data set up including inputting data, assigning material characteristics, verifying master data accuracy, and maintaining process documentation.
- Support reporting and analytics for commissions, bad goods, obsolete materials, cash flow, etc.
- Perform external audit analytics and provide support for financial reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
- 1+ years of working experience in Accounting/Finance OR Internship experience in Accounting/Finance.
Other
- 1 year of SAP experience preferred.
- 1 year of Excel experience using vlookups and pivot tables preferred.
- 1 year of PowerBI/PowerApps knowledge preferred

The approximate pay range for this position is $61,397 - $75,827. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. Nestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k with company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.
