POSITION SUMMARY:

Though deeply analytical, we’re more than just the numbers people. Your career in Finance may begin in capital budgeting, internal audit or any one of our 23 factory locations but our teams are closely intertwined making room for career growth across the department(s) we support. As a Financial Control Associate- Marketing Expense you will work as a financial business partner to oversee and ensure the end-to-end marketing spend process is completed in a timely manner and accurately reported on the Profit & Loss Statements (P&L). You will be the subject matter expert on marketing spend and responsible for appropriately applying the Marketing Investment Framework in accordance with Nestlé Accounting Standards.   

 

  • Act as central point of contact for multiple budget owners 
  • Translate marketing promotions into a financial plan within SAP 
  • Work with marketing budget owners to review, validate cost estimates, and verify appropriate approval 
  • Purchase Order management from purchase requisition to invoicing 
  • Cross functional collaboration with other departments, such as Purchasing, Market Research, and Factories 
  • Lead weekly/monthly status meetings with marketing teams to collectively review and revise marketing plans 
  • Provide accurate, clear, and timely reporting to marketing teams identifying variances to plan and other potential issues. 
  • Build and forecast accurate plan dates for activities within SAP to ensure proper monthly accruals on the P&L 
  • Enforce Product Fix Marketing Expense Operating Standards in accordance with Nestlé Accounting Standards and advise Marketing partner on maintaining integrity of reported result 
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis of specific promotional efforts and/or activities as requested. 

 
Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance, or related field 
  • Internship experience in Accounting/Finance OR 1+ years of Accounting/Finance experience 
  • 1+ years of experience using Excel 

 
Other 

  • 1+ years of Power Bi experience

The approximate pay range for this position is $50,000 to $68,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
