Our service professionals possess exceptional foresight and together, make up our reliable Site Services team. From our sustainability efforts on-campus, to identifying opportunities and solutions often before we even realize what we need. As a Millwright at Nestlé Purina, you’ll be responsible for installations, maintenance, and repairs of machinery/equipment and facility components in the Pilot Plant – a small-scale trial manufacturing plant located on our St. Louis HQ campus.
- Install, assemble, and adjust machinery and parts (unloading, hoisting, erecting, setting, dismantling, skidding, precision level and aligning) using hoists and overhead cranes
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure the proper functioning of machinery to maximize productivity and safety
- Understand mechanical systems, blueprint reading, welding, and precision measurement tools
- Safely use power tools, such as metal shears, power rollers, drill presses, hydraulic presses, grinding and cutting wheels to perform tasks
- Fabricate and work with various metals while using welding practices
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, military, or related environment
- 1+ year of experience in welding applications and equipment: Mig, Tig, AC/DC , torch, brazing, etc.
Other
- Associates Degree of Technology in Industrial Technology or related field is preferred
- Union millwright and/or maintenance apprenticeship experience is preferred
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed is preferred
- Must be willing to work Monday through Friday from 7:30am – 4:00pm

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $43.80. Please note that the pay provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. Nestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k with Company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.
