Position Summary

 

We’re a leader in the pet care category and part of the world’s largest food company—so you can imagine our salesforce is BIG. In pet care, we focus our sales efforts within the retail and veterinary sales channels to ensure we’re at the forefront of consumers’ minds. You’ll become the expert in our products and the face behind Purina brands to your customers—some of the most well recognized and loved brands around world.

 

As the Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving advanced analytics capabilities and enabling digital transformation through the Sales teams. This resource will collaborate with teams to identify opportunities and provide solutions to drive more efficient solutions and speed to insights.

 

  • Create and deliver more efficient and automated reporting processes for customer teams
  • Analyze business operations, processes, and performance metrics to best meet the needs of Sales and Category Teams
  • Use data and analytics skills to determine trends, exceptions, and proactive alerts to drive enhanced business results
  • Collaborate with Purina Sales Analytics HUB to identify and build new category and technical capabilities
  • Proactively identify new solutions for driving growth and best practices
  • Lead IT support in maintaining current tools and development of new capabilities
  • Deploy solutions by coaching and embedding technology throughout the team

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, eCommerce, digital category development, business analytics or marketing
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft solutions and power platforms (PowerBI, PowerAutomate, Excel, PPT, etc)

 

Other

  • Ability to travel 10 - 15% 

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $101,000 to $150,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
