POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Digital Manufacturing Specialist, you will contribute to solutions aligning with roadmap of the Digital Manufacturing product suite and technical landscape. This person will be a part of the Innovation group within Digital Manufacturing and will collaborate with both the Operations and Infrastructure groups to explore the “art of the possible” and bring new solutions to life within Nestle Purina manufacturing facilities across the United States. Your priority and scope will be determined in working with our business users, subject matter experts, and potential external vendors. Your focus will be to deliver results aligning to business expectations, projected timelines, and organization value
- Work within the Digital Manufacturing Innovation team to complete the Explore, Screen, Test, Learn, and Scale cycles for potential new solutions
- Leverage existing technical skillsets, develop new ones, and work with consultants to drive results
- Explore, Select, and Test transformative technologies for prioritized business objectives
- Ideate and research transformative technology applications and software for manufacturing operations
- Serve on technical boards to guide 3rd party roadmaps
- Work with Digital Manufacturing Operations and Infrastructure teams to industrialize solutions, aligning on priority
- Pilot stakeholder aligned solutions and facilitate the hand off to Operations for Deploy and Sustain
- Use agile methodologies to ensure Portfolio backlog is aligned, maintained and achieved throughout project cycles
- Ensure project efforts are planned and track progress towards plan by taking ownership and holding others accountable for timelines and activities when necessary
- Recommend and implement process improvements and technical solutions to support and streamline the Digital Manufacturing framework and strategic vision
- Collaborate with factory personnel and other internal and external business partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related technical field and 1+ years experience in Industry 4.0 digital transformation capabilities\solutions, Business Analysis, Information Architecture, Information Analysis, or Mobile Solutions OR Associate’s degree with 3+ years of experience in the above
Other
- 1+ years of experience working with data engineering tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databrick, or Azure Data Lake
- 1+ years of experience working with Next Gen solutions such as: Digital Twin, Automated Processing, Visual Quality, Connected Factory Worker, etc

The approximate pay range for this position is $75,000.00 to $113,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. Nestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k with company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.
