The Director of Strategic Planning is responsible for reviewing and analyzing business practices within the organization. The primary objective of this position is to identify areas for improvement and recommend optimization strategies to enhance overall organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Review and assess current business practices, strategies, and processes to identify potential gaps and areas of improvement.
- Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management, across Generating Demand and Ensuring Supply organizations, to gather data and insights for analysis.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance effectiveness, and optimize resource allocation.
- Lead and facilitate strategic planning sessions to align business objectives with overall business goals.
- Provide guidance and support to teams implementing recommended strategies and process improvements.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies to ensure the business remains innovative and competitive.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Merchandising & Marketing and Master of Business Administration degree required.
- 10+ years of marketing strategy experience including business model creation, innovation, and creative strategy for both pet food and animal feed brands.
- 5+ years of experience working in consumer and marketplace insights.
- 3+ years of experience creating global business strategies for pet food brands.
The approximate pay range for this position is $174,000 to $190,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
