A Demand and Supply Planning (DSP) Product Owner will be hired in North America to support the application software and solution architecture for Nestle’s supply chain operational planning capabilities.  These include statistical forecasting, demand planning, supply / distribution planning, material requirements planning, detailed production scheduling, inventory optimization, solver-based optimization, and related data analytics.  You will drive additions to the product roadmap incorporating digital, automation, analytics, and innovation to generate maximum business value. You will lead the functional blueprint and solution design of new planning applications and support their deployment.  You will work with various functional leaders within North America to shape their strategies with regards to product adoption, building new capabilities, or bettering the user experience. In this role, you will also work hand in hand with the Global Supply Chain Application Owners and Product Managers to share best practice and ensure alignment to the global product vision and roadmap while in close collaboration with the Architects and Supply Chain functions.

 

 

  • Responsible for understanding gaps and then working with the rest of the community to deliver solutions
  • Work with Functional and IT Leaders to develop their DSP product roadmaps and consolidate into a broader North America product roadmap
  • Accountable for the user stories / change requests in the overall product backlog and the prioritization and overall delivery of the Product Lifecycle for Demand Supply Planning
  • Act as the regional voice back to the global IT Product Manager and advocate for the product within the North America, working to bridge any gaps
  • Take ownership of product and process pain points, then help drive to resolution in alignment with global Demand Supply Planning Product Managers
  • Meet regularly with each IT functional stream and Functional Relationship Manager to ensure they understand value of the products and look for additional opportunities

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably computer science or supply chain management or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years’ experience working in the IT Function
  • 3+ years of experience with back-end integration of Demand Supply Planning solutions with an ERP platform 
  • 3+ years of experience working with and having functional knowledge of SAP APO (Advanced Planning & Optimization)


OTHER

  • Design and deployment experience with OMP planning software is highly preferred


The approximate pay range for this position is $120,000.00 to $140,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
