As an IT Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for Connectivity (WAN) products, projects, suppliers and operations for Zone America. You will ensure the IT portfolio is managed according to defined Governance and Projects Portfolio Management Processes. You will focus on the categorization of programs/projects alongside business strategies by working with the latest and greatest of network technologies, such as: SD-WAN, Firewall as a Service, VPN as a Service, and more. Prioritization of initiatives to establish an optimal mix of projects and programs while balancing the use of resources across projects will be a key responsibility of yours. Also, you’ll interact with many different technology stakeholders to provide information and resources for them to make decisions while optimizing relationship building with our Global Team in Milan and Italy.
Work with the senior portfolio leaders, program and project managers to understand the resource needs of each project/program (i.e.: skills, expertise, timing) and coordinate resolution of resource conflicts.
Maintain the integrity of the globally prioritized projects in line with both the group and market strategies.
Manage Connectivity (WAN) Products Operations for Zone Americas.
Assess internal Connectivity Tech Experts (coaching and development plan).
Influence and indirectly manage Vendors and external resources.
Be the bridge between Global CVC team and Regional CVC team for Connectivity WAN products.
Balance needs of ongoing processes (functional/operational) with resources to support the programs/projects in the portfolio based on changing business/functional needs, resource capacity constraints, risk exposure, and interdependencies.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or 4+ years of work experience in managing complex network infrastructure environments.
- 7+ years of experience as an IT Vendor manager managing the infrastructure, applications, WAN connectivity services and network of critical, complex, and large enterprises.
- 5+ years of experience working multicultural/global companies negotiating and managing vendor contracts, and SLA’s.
- 2+ years of experience in SD-WAN Technologies, firewalls, VPN as a services, protocols, and network optimization techniques.
OTHER
- Knowledge in Service Management processes (based on ITIL and COBIT) is preferred.
The approximate pay range for this position is $114000 - $155000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
