The Lead Facilities Planning role supports the successful planning, programming, and schematic design of capital improvement projects across Campus headquarters. This position combines strong interior design and space planning expertise with the ability to coordinate client needs, manage standards, support move management activities, and serve as a trusted liaison within the Site Services group. The role also helps ensure Purina’s corporate mission, values, and brand are thoughtfully reflected in the built environment through planning, design, materials, signage, artwork, and workplace experience decisions.

• Coordinate planning, programming, and schematic design services for capital improvement projects, including the selection of finishes and materials, while ensuring alignment with business needs, campus standards, budgets, and project objectives
• Complete schematic design work for smaller pocket projects, including layout development, furniture planning, finish coordination, and design documentation
• Maintain and update Campus facilities standards, including furniture, signage, artwork, built environment materials, and related planning guidelines
• Understand Purina’s corporate mission, values, and brand standards, and thoughtfully implement them into the built environment through planning, design, materials, signage, artwork, and workplace experience decisions
• Coordinate furniture tagging and inventory assignments at the Campus Warehouse to support accurate tracking, reuse, storage, and deployment of assets
• Support move management activities by understanding process requirements, coordinating with stakeholders, and using SAP and other Integrated Workplace Management Systems to document and manage work
• Meet with internal clients of varying scales, external vendors, and service partners to understand needs, establish expectations, and build meaningful relationships that support ongoing facilities service delivery
• Partner closely with the Site Services group to communicate priorities, resolve issues, support project execution, and provide leadership through collaboration and follow-through

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Related Field or 10+ years of relevant experience
• 7+ years of design / project management experience
• 5+ years of experience in AutoCAD and Bluebeam

Other

• Working knowledge of move management processes and workplace systems, including SAP and Integrated Workplace Management Systems (ARCHIBUS) is preferred
• Ability to read, interpret and work from construction drawings, along with general knowledge and understanding of applicable building codes
• National Council for Interior Design Qualification Certification (NCIDQ) is preferred
• 10% Travel

Salary: $110,804.40 to $152,161.00 per year

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
