Position Summary

The Sr. Expert IT Vendor Management is responsible for driving the strategy for sourcing partnering in alignment with product streams and Nestle OpCos. You will be a Subject Matter Expert for collaboration with Nestlé Global Procurement reflecting the requirements in a common framework agreement that include clearly defined and transparent IT vendor performance metrics. You will ensure handover of the framework agreements to the IT Vendor Management experts in the product streams and OpCos for measuring the vendor success level. You will contribute to various vendor life-cycle aspects covering Demand shaping, sourcing vendor services, Performance Management, Governance, and Financial Management.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement quality and vendor management strategies that balance value, cost, risk and speed over time according to the IT sourcing strategy 
  • Define governance models, ensuring timely evaluations of new sources of services, managing the transition from one source to another
  • Develop relationships with cross-functional internal stakeholders to deliver value at all costs from vendor engagements
  • Negotiating and managing IT contracts and vendor relationships 
  • Assess and deliver business value from services delivered by external service providers in coordination with internal delivery organizations. 
  • Ensure services are compliant with internal and external standards in regards to compliance.
  • Forecast and track PMO, Run IT and consulting services demand
  • Raise sourcing request and participate in RFPs, vendor selection, CAC Reviews etc.
  • Supports Product Managers/FRMs in collection of requirements and service integration mapping through sharing of best practices and reusable Statement of Work elements and in identifying existing reusable contracts or services
  • Define requirements, services / solution and budget and performance needs
  • Leverages global contracts, improvement and selection of appropriate service delivery models and Evaluate, vendor selection and contractual terms
  • Align and comply with VMO sourcing strategies, guidelines, and best practices
  • Maintains an inventory of vendor spend versus value (often in collaboration with other areas such as Finance and Procurement) by product group, category, cost center and geography
  • Track, and report vendor spend and financial targets and GR invoices and approve deliverables 

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience managing vendor teams, performance, and SLAs with 3 of those years managing internal and external stakeholders in collaboration with executives
  • 5+ years of IT experience and understanding of technology acumen
  • Experience in effective communication at different level in the organization and in English 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business (IT management), engineering or IT 
  • 1+ years of experience in Procurement or Purchasing
  • 1+ years of experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
