Position Summary
As a Manager IT User Support you’ll be working with Informational Technology North America supporting the Nestle Purina operating company. You will be overseeing the day-to-day technical support to employees for a range of hardware and software related systems. You will be responsible for managing the blended operational teams that provide end user IT support as well as asset management activities for the North American markets. Liaise with the global product teams on improvements, fixes, understand opportunities and new initiatives. The IT User manager will also handle escalations and work with the various teams to get to solutions by using root cause analysis tools and monitoring. You will be responsible for introducing analytical mindset towards goal-setting and articulating the future of the team.
Job Requirements
- Responsible for maintaining people management and vendor relationship management.
- Interface and oversee daily operations for field services and asset management.
- Act as a subject matter expert in support handling escalations from your team with timeliness and a focus on coaching.
- Collaborate with business functions and cross-functional partners such as global teams, Lead IT User Innovators, Sr. IT user specialist and Product teams to drive shared initiatives that result in a superior user experience.
- Supervises both experienced and entry-level employees and may also supervise some para-professional employees.
- Assists in scoping projects and identifying links with the field services and asset management arenas
- Sets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results
- Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders.
- Deals with escalations and ensures service being provided is up to standard
- Ensure compliance of KPI’s and performance measures.
Required Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in Informational Technology and/ or equivalent experience in End User Support.
- 4+ yrs. of experience in Management work within an ambiguous environment, and collaborating with internal and partner resources
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
- Experience working with O365 solutions, PowerBI and ServiceNow
- Prior knowledge of vendor management skills
- Knowledge of ITIL
- Basic knowledge of asset management processes
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure support (Network, Phone systems etc.)
