Position Summary

It’s more than a quality product in a quality package. It’s more than driving sales and revenue. It’s about educating consumers on how to enhance the relationship with their pets. Or how they can feed their pet to minimize allergies. It’s about making pet food, snacks, and litter a shopping experience. And contributing to the world in such a way that we can impact the chances of every dog or cat living a healthier life. As a Specialist, UX Research, you belong in an innovative, fast-paced, user-focused digital product team. In this position, you will complement and enhance our team’s skillset including UX/UI design specialists, UX writers, and digital designers as part of your product team with our product owners and developers. The UX Strategist has a passion for digital trends and innovation, combined with an expert understanding of user experience practices, consumers, technologies, and brands. You will identify where business goals harmoniously meet consumer engagement points all while learning from UX team-members, product owners, business analysts, and developers. 

 

 

  • Collaborates and build UX artifacts and tools like personas, user flows, and user journeys 
  • Facilitate workshops with colleagues from all disciplines 
  • Collect data and consumer insights found throughout the organization and from analytic research 
  • With KPIs at your forefront, mind leverage data to support and validate UX approach while confidently presenting UX findings and helping user experience teams align directions 
  • Participate in testing products while developing and analyzing quantitative and qualitative user research to formulate UX plans 
  • Lead content strategy deliverables based on the products strategic architecture, results driven interactions, and site metrics. 
  • Construct functional or interaction specs and occasionally assist in updates in a CMS environment 
  • Consult on strategic plans for digital products within the build and marketing phases

 

 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution 
  • 3+ years of professional experience with 1+ years of this experience in UX
