Position Summary

 

As an Expert Electrical and Controls Engineer, you will lead all aspects of scoping, development, implementation and support of electrical and control systems design and commissioning efforts for capital projects. You will provide technical assistance and support to all factories and champion quality control of delivered design drawing packages and process control solutions.

Primary Responsibilities
• Serve as corporate representative for capital projects to drive electrical and control systems design as well as implementation initiatives and standards
• Support the development and coordination of electrical and control systems projects with appropriate supervision from conception through completion
• Interact with factory leadership, plant personnel and various corporate teams to obtain input required to deliver results
• Provide technical support including system specifications and design expertise for programmable logic controllers (PLC), industrial networking and other instrumented systems
• Demonstrate proficiency in machine safety standards
• Provide technical guidance to internal and external integration resources

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years of experience in controls and/or electrical engineering in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment

Other
• Must be willing to travel up to 25% based on business needs
