As an Accounting Analyst, you will use critical thinking skills to support the daily accounting activities for Nestlé Purina. This is not your traditional, transactional accounting role, you will be part of an extraordinary team of professionals who are the primary support hub for all finance groups across our organization. You will work cross-functionally across all levels of the organization to ensure our financial data is entered and flowing through our systems accurately and to facilitate precise and timely business decisions.
- Perform accounting activities including but not limited to journal entries, banking activities, data health checks on financial postings, and account reconciliations
- Perform period end close requirements to ensure monthly financials are accurately stated
- Perform Master Data set up including data input, assigning material characteristics, verifying master data accuracy, and maintaining process documentation
- Support reporting and analytics for commissions, bad goods, obsolete materials, and cash flow
- Perform external audit analytics and provide support for financial reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance
- 1+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance, or 1+ years of internship experience in Accounting/Finance
- SAP experience is preferred
- Proficiency with Excel using vlookups and pivot tables is preferred
