Position Summary

Our New Business Models team consists of pioneers and architects who create groundbreaking technologies and product innovations; from introducing the extrusion process and reinventing litter, to tapping into the power of probiotics and rethinking specialized nutrition. With a digital ecosystem that includes high growth digital products like Petfinder, Petivity IoT, and Just Right personalized pet food, what state-of-the-art designs will you add to the mix?

 

The Sr. DTC Manager assists the Head of DTC with the strategic vision, customer experience, roadmap, and the overall management of Purina DTC businesses. You are a customer-centric leader that can deliver an inspiring strategic vision for our DTC businesses and translates that to a roadmap that helps us create a best-in-class end-to-end experience. The Sr. DTC Manager will report to the Head of DTC whose teams are responsible for executing DTC brands including Digital Product Management & Engagement, UX Research and Design, Brand and Performance Marketing, and Consumer Product Experience.

  • Contribute to, create plans around and execute the DTC strategic vision, roadmap, and business decisions
  • Obsess over the end-to-end customer experience across the funnel
  • Track digital product and growth initiatives across the portfolio
  • Share successes and best practices across the portfolio
  • Look for areas to improve across the portfolio
  • Track DTC metrics and statistics and report out on a regular cadence
  • Collaborate effectively across functions (Manufacturing, Distribution & Logistics, Engineering, IT) to ensure priorities are understood and are being actioned per the agreed upon plans

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • Experience leading a Direct-to-Consumer strategy required. 
  • 7+ years of professional experience with 3+ years in any of the following areas required: Ecommerce, sales, marketing, design strategy, self-employed entrepreneur, or business analytics
  • Travel up to 25% or as business needs require if not in St. Louis
