POSITION SUMMARY:
As the IT Program Manager, you will spearhead and manage programs and projects, ensuring they are delivered as expected, on time, within budget, and of the highest quality. Through dynamic and iterative scoping, delivery, and change management (agile program management), you will define and drive the process, while adhering to established Nestle Program and Project Management methodologies. Your role involves leading the discovery process, guiding the design phase with a team of IT and business resources, and developing a comprehensive business case with meticulous budget planning for final submission and approval. You will also be responsible for structuring the program/project plan and budget, executing and controlling it to maintain the quality and integrity of information across the enterprise. Additionally, you will oversee risk management for the project or program and lead your program/project team, allocating sub-projects and tasks accordingly. As the Manager of Program Management, you will also play a key role in enhancing the capability of the Program and Project Management Community in North America.
- Ensure the discovery process of the initiative has been completed to the alignment with IT and/or Business sponsors
- Effectively define Program Governance and structure to enable stakeholder engagement and decisions making.
- Lead executive-level program steering committees to raise program-level risks, requests for decisions to be made, communicate additional funding needs and ensure the program benefits remain intact.
- Strategically integrate across multiple functions within IT, and IT partners and/or the Business to effectively drive Discovery through to Design and execution of the program/project through to successful delivery
- Proactively drive planning with the project or program team, and create integrated project plans covering the full end-to-end including key milestones for sign-offs gates with Business and IT.
- Manage by proactively anticipating issues, needs, concerns, risks, leveraging program/project methodologies and frameworks as a tool to ensure alignment to goals and objectives of the program/project.
- Protect the execution of the project to deliver the outcome as expected of the Business Case while adhering to the scope, budget, timeline, and quality of the delivery
- Manage and resolve issues, and/or conflicts in a cross-functional environment.
- Must adhere to Nestle Project and Program Management delivery standards, budget management and tools in a disciplined way to ensure execution excellence
- Drive and support the capability building efforts for the PMO team within the North America Program Management Community, collaborating with the global IBS PMO team as appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience in both IT and business
- 5+ years of experience in a program/ project management role increasing scope and budget over time
- 5+ years of experience leading projects with multi- million dollar budget
- Industry certification in PMP and/or Agile Scrum, or the willingness to acquire one within the first year of employment.
The approximate pay range for this position is $126,000 to $173,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
