POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Project Manager on the Digital Manufacturing team, you will manage projects related to the Product Supply organization with a particular focus on IT infrastructure, software development and deployment for manufacturing automations.  Your primary role is to manage project performance (scope, time, quality, cost, risk, benefits) and coordinate the activities of the team responsible for project deliverables.  This includes monitoring and reporting on project key performance indicators, assisting in day-to-day project activities, and working closely with software developers, systems analysts and other IT and business team members. You will be responsible for managing assigned projects throughout their life cycle (as per established project management standards and guidelines) to ensure benefits prescribed in the business case are delivered.

  • Create detailed project plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, reporting processes, and allocating resources in accordance with the digital strategy.
  • Apply project management tools, methodologies, and best practices to ensure the on-time launch and flawless execution of projects from concept to end.
  • Identify and manage potential risks and liabilities, including identifying project management coordination gaps or areas of improvement and making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to project progress.
  • Oversee technical analysis of as-is and to-be manufacture automation solutions, including consultation with the business to determine functional specifications.
  • Deliver system modifications to ensure the successful integration of the software with existing IT applications.
  • Manage and control project budget, providing cost forecasts and cash flow projections through the development of project cost and status reports on at least a monthly basis or as requested by project stakeholders.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and create reports highlighting the KPIs that are below targets. Coordinate root cause analysis when targets are not met and support the implementation of solutions.
  • Update project details in the portfolio management system, including maintenance of resource plans. Review resource time entries to identify Deviations.
  • Communicate with leadership to provide weekly project updates, keep projects aligned with goals, and proactively escalate issues to stay on time and schedule.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business management, or 7+ years of equivalent working experience in a related field.
  • 4+ years’ experience in an IT project manager role, with hands-on experience managing agile, waterfall or hybrid projects at large-scale enterprise level.
  • 2+ years’ experience in IT software development and deployment in manufacturing automation and SAP integration.

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $75,000.00 to $164,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
