Manager IT Product/Platform - Legal & Workplace Solutions

As an IT product/platform manager you will be responsible for maximizing value of the product and the work of the development team by ensuring the product is brought to life in the individual markets within a region/zone. You will be an experienced IT Implementation Leader with good Business knowledge in the Legal, Compliance and Workplace Products. You’ll work closely with the IT Product/Platform Manager to ensure that releases are reflective of product strategy (i.e. Vision and Roadmap) and receiver needs, and acts as a key information conduit for the development team. As the owner of the region/zone User Stories in the overall product backlog, is accountable for the prioritization and for the overall tactical value delivery in the Product Lifecycle. 

 

You will work with Functional leaders of Legal and Workplace in the business to shape their strategies with regard to product adoptions. Also, contribute to the product roadmap and portfolio optimization in the respective region/zone. You will become the expert in how the product and supported business capabilities are delivering value for the receivers / or not and where not bring a pro-active vision to the roadmap. With a deep understanding of the market's needs, acts as the voice of the market back to the IT Product/Platform Manager as well as an advocate for the product within the market, working to bridge any existing gaps. You will be accountable for adoption of the product and reducing duplication within the markets for the respective region/zone.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Working with Functional leaders, establish product roadmap in line with IT Product/Platfrom Manager vision and directions.
  • Manages the interdependencies between a product’s features in scope
  • Measures business cases (optional, decided by Business sponsor)
  • Coordinates, prioritizes and validates the Product items work of tech teams
  • Tracks releases and product versioning
  • Influences prioritization of the backlog within the product org
  • Defines the sprint backlog / targeted release cycle
  • Engaged in discovery and manages resulting (relevant) backlog
  • Ensures readiness of User Stories
  • Drives Backlog grooming for backlog items clarifications
  • Supports hyper-care and industrialization needs - through the supporting partner
  • Acts as the voice of the market back to the IT Product/Platform manager
  • Collaborates regularly with the dedicated (Near Receivers) to answer the point on how well the product is performing in the market
  • Uses their deep understanding of the business capabilities to segment IS / IT customers and consumers based on their needs and profile. Provides an outside in based view of how to best target each segment
  • Analyzes product and applications performance related reporting for insights of product impact and adoption in market (actuals versus plan). Works with market to define and validate specific key value indicators (KPIs); defines with team key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve the product value for the market
  • Partners with FRM (and business through FRM) to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements, pain points or opportunities into IS/IT requirements that get fed into backlog


Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably computer science or field related to the product or equivalent work expereince.
  • 5+ year of expereince in Informational technolgoy (e.g. BA, PM etc.) working with multi-functional application delivery teams in a global environment with outsourced entities.
  • 3+ yrs. Cloud SAS, SaaS and IaaS implementation.
