As a Licensed Plumber, you will conduct repairs, replacements, installations, and maintenance of facility components, ensuring compliance with plumbing codes and regulations. As a Licensed Plumber, you will utilize your trade skills as required of a Licensed Journeyman Plumber to ensure the efficient operation and functionality of our plumbing infrastructure.

 

  • Apply principles of piping systems, particularly the flow of different materials at various pressures, including vacuum.
  • Work with piping and plumbing system components, specialties, and control devices, including control valves, traps, pressure regulators, automatic vents, expansion tanks, air separators, and pressure and temperature safety devices.
  • Test fire protection systems and components, including piping, pumps, sprinkler heads, valves, and control devices.
  • Install and conduct maintenance for fixtures and systems used in restrooms, janitor closets, labs, and other relevant areas.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute plumbing projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
  • Adhere to plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of installations, maintenance activities, and test results.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of standard piping and plumbing supplies


Requirements

  • High school diploma of GED equivalent
  • Valid and current license as a Journeyman Plumber
  • 5+ years of experience in plumbing maintenance


Other

  • 1+ years of plumbing experience in a commercial and/or industrial environment is preferred
  • Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester certification is preferred
  • 1+ years of pipefitting experience is preferred
  • Must be willing to work Monday through Friday from 7:30AM – 4:00PM.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed is preferred
  • Must be able to perform the physical requirements necessary, such as lifting and carrying up to 50+ pounds, to meet the expectations of job assignments


The approximate hourly pay for this position is $40.61. Please note that the pay provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
