REMOTE - Sr. Manager - IT Mergers and Acquisitions

Position Summary

You will contribute to supporting Mergers & Acquisition activities, with in-depth IT functional, financial, and technical integration expertise. Within the M&A cross-functional team, you will be responsible for performing IT due diligence on target companies, conducting Expert Network sessions, and developing a highly confidential joint IT/Business Case and Integration Roadmap. You will also be responsible for the subsequent integration of the target company to ensure the Business Case synergies are achieved and deliver a set of pre-defined and ad hoc services on demand from the corporate M&A team. You will collaborate with both the Nestlé and target M&A teams in accordance with the M&A contracts, timelines, objectives, and constraints. After transactions, you will orchestrate the activation of the required individuals and suppliers to create the appropriate project team. You will contribute to maintaining a set of guidelines and best practices to drive the delivery of the IT services for M&A. This position will be a remote opportunity and you will be able to sit anywhere in the US.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform IT Due Diligence assigned by IT M&A leaders
  • Propose Business Cases from an IT point of view with direct, fact-based inputs and then support the business decision-making.
  • Contribute development of the new and viable IT Operating Models (WoW, Technology, Cost) as an answer to Due Diligence Business Cases
  • Support product team members for delivering on the assigned M&A requests with the help of IT leadership and the IT Talent Planning and Management team. 
  • Lead and deliver value on one or more IT projects within the agreed M&A business time frames
  • Manage the IT budget for assigned deals and focus on agreed major outcomes that meet the business goals and objectives
  • Perform Risk and Issue management on assigned projects and apply relevant governance principles set by the business M&A function 
  • Manage IT Business ensuring that different IT operating models could work within Nestle IT in different varying degrees of integration
  • Engage under confidentiality with multi-functional stakeholders related to the business requests and projects assigned 

 

Basic Qualifications: 
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or Computer Science or related field
7+ years of combined experience in IT and business/industry
3+ years of leadership responsibilities across major projects and programs, with budget responsibility and proven effectiveness working in a project matrix structure
Ability to demonstrate and deliver sound solution focused and analytical expertise to IT and Business partners
Prior experience with global companies driving rapid incremental business value and growth
Experience effectively communicating at different levels in the organization

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with Risk Analysis regarding mergers, acquisitions, and divestures
  • Previous experience within different ERP systems
  • 2+ years of M&A experience responsible for all IT aspects of the transaction
