Position Summary
As Senior Expert Engineer (Industrial Services), you will provide technical leadership for utility systems across the Nestlé Purina PetCare factory network. You will turn standards from the Zone Americas North technical hub into practical, consistent solutions at each factory and support capital projects valued up to $10 million. Your work will help steam, hot water, refrigeration, compressed air, water, wastewater, cooling towers, heating and cooling, air-handling, and gas systems operate safely, reliably, efficiently, and sustainably. In partnership with factory and engineering teams, you will improve asset performance, address compliance gaps, advance long-term capital planning, and help deliver annual energy, water, and greenhouse gas reduction goals.
- Lead the Nestlé Purina PetCare Industrial Services strategy, priorities, performance measures, and action plans across the factory network.
- Standardize daily, weekly, and monthly operating reviews, utility checks, cleaning and inspection routines, process controls, visual management, and approved digital monitoring tools.
- Improve utility safety, reliability, and cost by troubleshooting technical issues, reducing downtime, strengthening maintenance practices, and minimizing waste.
- Oversee compliance, engineering safety, and risk-reduction programs, including audits, process safety, hazard reviews, and regulatory requirements. Help factories remain audit-ready, close gaps on time, and escalate significant risks.
- Lead annual energy, water, and greenhouse gas reduction efforts by building project pipelines, advancing company sustainability roadmaps, and improving environmental data quality.
- Develop long-term utility and capital plans that address compliance, reliability, aging equipment, efficiency, and net-zero goals. Guide standards, technology selection, project requirements, and design reviews.
- Build factory expertise through coaching, training, onboarding, succession planning, skill assessments, functional networks, and shared best practices. Support emergency response, incident reviews, root-cause analysis, change management, and urgent risk-reduction work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
- 10+ years of progressive engineering experience in industrial services, utilities, compliance, process safety, maintenance, capital projects, audit and/or technical leadership in a manufacturing, industrial or related environment.

- Must be willing to travel approximately 30%-60% to meet business needs

Salary: $149,789.70 to $205,067.00 per year

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
