As a Sr. Manager, Advertising & Marketing Communications, you will help lead annual integrated media planning for Nestlé Purina based on business needs like brand/portfolio priorities and industry/category (CPG) best practices. You will continue to maintain and exceed Purina’s reputation as a media thought leader all while working and partnering with your internal and external partners.
- Key lead in the annual media planning process, working closely with media agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure effective media strategies and plans
- Apply strong knowledge of media and marketing fundamentals to develop best practices and approaches
- Lead portfolio-wide Video Strategy (Linear/Streaming/OLV) and oversee social media planning
- Develop and validate best practices for marketing approaches on Video and Social media platforms
- Participate in and drive annual TV Upfront strategy, process, and innovations. Must have led and developed a National TV Upfront approach and strategy
- Codify media and channel-level best practices through the establishment of playbooks, education and organizational influence to drive continued excellence in media planning
- Contribute to agency management, including SOW, capabilities, and annual reviews
- Participate in global initiatives, align learning agenda priorities, share case studies and best practices
- Partner with brands to develop and execute media strategies that align with business objectives and consumer behavior
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to set annual learning agendas and drive continuous optimizations in media plans and mixes
- Work closely with the Strategy/Insights and Analytics team to evaluate performance across multiple sources (MMM, Cross-Channel Studies, Partner Studies, etc.)
- Manage and mentor the Social Center of Excellence (COE), helping to drive the overall portfolio strategy for social media
- Collaborate with the Social COE and internal stakeholders to develop Joint Business Plans and Learning Agendas across Meta, YouTube, and TikTok
- Partner with the Operations lead to manage budget reporting and flowcharts
- Work in cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in service of driving media strategy, best practices, innovation and performance
- Identify and stay up to date of leading-edge approaches, technology and trends to ensure Purina keeps up with the pace of people
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- 10+ years of agency experience, with 5+ years working on national CPG brands
- 7+ experience planning/buying across digital and off-line media
The approximate pay range for this position is $136,000 to $160,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
