Sr. Business Analyst (Factory Floor IT) - St. Louis

Position Summary

As a FFIT Business Analyst, you are responsible for supporting factory floor IT system’s day-to-day activities and strategic initiatives by employing technologies and techniques, project ownership and capability building. You will manage and maintain the systems designed to acquire and transform raw data into meaningful and useful quantitative information that is actionable and relevant to the business to assist in the facilitation of business decisions by the Technical and Production Leadership Team and their supporting functions / manufacturing groups. You will be responsible for researching, developing, implementing, coordinating & collaborating, and training advanced methodologies and systems to improve operating efficiency, reduce cost and increase revenue. Measuring and building capability within Nestle North American factories will be a high priority.


Primary Responsibilities: 

  • First contact for factory technical resources for FFIT related questions and issues
  • Drive ITNA, coordinate all activities into and out of the Purina Digital Infrastructure Team
  • Expert in driving work to do, SCRUM Master, must adapt to the style the NPPC DiM team expects the work to filter in and out.
  • Works with the FFIT POD in problem analysis and escalation
  • Establish a network within IT to be able to drive Factory requests to done 
  • Liaise with Nestle IT organization in resolution of process related problems, initiating process or system changes as appropriate
  • Liaise with business users and GLOBE organization in supporting business and system activities required for internal/external audits, process/system enhancements
  • Drive systematic troubleshooting review thorough analysis of complex Infrastructure issues identify root cause.
  • Prepare and maintain training materials, end user documentation, and business guidelines/ policies
  • Partner with Factory IS/IT and Nestle IT with Infrastructure projects including installation, configuration and providing ongoing support to a wide variety of highly resilient, scalable, and specialized infrastructures and associated equipment
  • Create and maintain highly detailed documentation including solution diagrams and architectural assessments for support, audit, compliance, and disaster recovery purposes. 
  • Partner with Engineering and Developers/Data Architects to provide an overarching data structure strategy for MES and “Big Data” and infrastructure, change management, security measures, and information architecture implementation 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Experience with ADO and SCRUM Agile methodologies 
  • 5+ years of relevant experience of business analysis in a relevant functional area 
  • Previous experience as a Scrum Master or scrum master certification
  • Knowledge of Consumer-Packaged Goods factory processes and technical environment
  • Experience with change management process including creation of end-user documentation and training materials 
  • Experienced in process/ continuous improvement regarding service delivery

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent; M.B.A. preferred 
  • Prior experience working in a factory environment in a technical role
  • Scrum Master certification
  • Experience working with Wonderware HMI
