Position Summary

 

As a Sr. Specialist, SAP EDI Business Analyst, you will lead the effort in diagnosing and resolving complex business process and application issues related to EDI. You will ensure optimal performance and usability for the various system users and takes a lead role in providing root cause analysis with recommendations for improvements. You will provide support to ensure the proper setup of new EDI customers and interfaces as needed. You will speak to and on behalf of the business in projects, system implementations and critical incidents impacting Nestle Purina Pet Care.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as an expert by researching and resolving SAP EDI issues and requests for multiple functional areas.
  • Respond to users and team member questions, analyze data, research, identify root causes to issues, and resolve
  • Guide users through the resolution of problems over the phone, via e-mail and in person and recommend preventative actions
  • Drive change management through collaboration with various business areas, support teams and Information Technology teams
  • Work critical incidents through resolution and provide timely updates to management and users
  • Ability to work with internal IT EDI as well as external partner provider(s) as needed 
  • Lead business initiatives through in-depth analysis, using problem solving and critical thinking skills 
  • Lead support of system issues and implementations performing gap analysis and user acceptance testing for cross-stream initiatives 
  • Identify and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes
  • Participate in medium to large business initiatives while balancing existing workload
  • Work closely with the project management team to identify and lead coordination of EDI efforts across SAP
  • Monitor and report on status and identify issues that inhibit project goals

 

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience working with SAP as an SAP EDI Business Analyst
  • 5+ years' experience in leading medium sized projects/business initiatives using Project Management framework
  • Previous experience completing batch jobs, IDOCs, configurations, and tables 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products: including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Power BI, and Teams 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
