Position Summary

The Supervisor of Engineering Procurement will manage a small team of direct reports that are responsible for executing end-to-end workflows related to capital expenditure equipment purchases and construction contracts. The SoE will coordinate with discipline engineers to define equipment specifications and execute auditable purchase orders with the vendors. In this role, you will create streamlined contract workflows within project management, ensuring proper stakeholder sign-off and maintenance of records.

Evaluate, select and issue contracts for construction and design consulting firms through bidding and prequalification vetting processes
Supervise and monitor bid processes for materials and equipment for capital projects including deadlines for deliverables
Develop and maintain end-to-end workflows for procurement and contract execution through engineering tools
Ensure engineering documentation for equipment is successfully integrated into a cohesive procurement process including invoicing, asset creation and project close-out
Liaison between Nestlé Purina Engineering (NPE), procurement and legal to ensure all processes and procedures for purchasing and contracts follow company guidelines
Coach and support team members to monitor, control and enforce procurement, contract and scheduling workflows on NPE-managed projects
Train, develop and coordinate career progression plans with direct reports

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Project Management, Engineering or related field
7+ years’ experience in equipment purchasing, supplier management and contracts for manufacturing, industrial or construction projects
