Position Summary
It’s more than a quality product in a quality package. It’s more than driving sales and revenue. It’s about educating consumers on how to enhance the relationship with their pets. Or how they can feed their pet to minimize allergies. It’s about making pet food, snacks, and litter a shopping experience. And contributing to the world in such a way that we can impact the chances of every dog or cat living a healthier life. This is marketing at Nestlé Purina – and it’s all done through agile ways of working, calculated risk-taking, meaningful collaboration, and a data-driven mind set.
As the eCommerce Marketing Manager Retail Media COE, you will support the Branded Marketing Department and Internal Media Team, by delivering retail media expertise across our Omni retailer media groups, such as Walmart Connect, Roundel, and Kroger Precision Marketing. You will advocate for best practices across the media and retail landscape, demand the best consumer experiences for our brand campaigns, and drive a shared vision among the Openmind Planning/Buying Teams leading our holistic media strategy. The opportunity is vast to integrate greater analytics into Nestle Purina PetCare’s decision-making process related to investments into Amazon Advertising. You will play the liaison, between Brand teams, media & analytics teams, the Amazon sales team, and external partners.
- Define, document, and deploy training materials and playbooks to drive adoption of best practices
- Collaborate with agency partners and internal stakeholders to create, track, and optimize KPIs/Performance Analytics
- Increase adoption of fundamentals by integrating eCommerce activities into existing organizational ways of working
- Serve as a strategic partner to educate Branded Marketing on the fundamentals of excelling in eCommerce (including formal trainings, Quarterly Business Reviews, participation in brand planning and informal meetings/share sessions);
- Credibly participate in conversations about driving results across the entire eBusiness value chain, including designing a sustainable business model and product portfolio, customer needs/requirements, fulfillment models, and eRetailer discoverability and conversion tactics including media and content
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of business experience with 2+ years experience in any of the following (Marketing, eCommerce, eBusiness, Digital Media, Branded Marketing, Business Analytics, or Shopper Marketing) required.
- 2+ years of experience executing digital media strategies preferred
- Amazon Media experience preferred
