We have an excellent opportunity to join our quality team at our factory in Staverton, the home of Shredded Wheat, as a quality systems leader. In this role you will work as part of a team to ensure legal compliance to ISO / BRC / CPW / Nestlé standards and systems are adhered to.

A day in the life of a Quality Systems Leader

 

•    Ensure that ISO / BRC accreditations are maintained
•    Maintain documentation for factory systems
•    Ensure timeliness on close out of non-conformances raised as part of internal audits
•    Manage the internal audit schedule (HACCP / Process / GMP)
•    Provide coaching and training to operators as required
•    Feedback quality issues to line operators / team managers
•    Represent the QA department at the factory compliance group
•    Update product compliance results in CAT 2.0 system and plan schedule for testing
•    Maintain magnet register and test according to the schedule
•    Work with R&D and Systems Engineers in updating and maintaining MDs for the factory 
•    Update Nestle standards to the latest versions from CTT and NESCAT
•    Carry out risk assessments for product quality on Management of Change requests
•    Technical acceptance of new products with R&D and Systems Engineers
•    Nutritional compliance checks for new packaging on iApprove system
•    In addition to these responsibilities, the role holder will be required to carry out other such duties as reasonably requested 

What will make you successful

 

•    Educated to degree level or equivalent in a food or scientific discipline
•    Proven quality experience with in a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG
•    Preferably experience with ISO standards- 22000 and 9000)
•    BRC knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
•    Experience internal and external auditing
•    In-depth knowledge of HACCP/ GMP
•    Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders both internal and external
•    Good planning and organisational skills
•    PC literate, excellent understanding of Excel / Word / Power point.
