You can be based at one of our Nordic offices, located in Oslo, Copenhagen, or Stockholm, depending on your preference and proximity.
A day in the life of a Veterinary Advocacy Lead
As Veterinary Advocacy Lead, you will work closely with veterinary professionals, universities, key opinion leaders, breeders, and internal stakeholders across the Nordic organization.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting internal teams through scientific expertise and nutritional training.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities and partnerships, including emerging channels and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Regulatory, Legal, and Veterinary Affairs.
What will make you successful?
We believe you are a qualified veterinarian with a strong passion for animal health and nutrition.
In addition, you bring:
- Approximately five years of experience working in clinical veterinary practice.
- Strong understanding of the Nordic veterinary landscape and veterinary business environment.
- Experience delivering training, lectures, presentations, or educational programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- A genuine interest in nutrition and scientific communication.
- Strong communication skills in at least one scandinavian language as well as English.
Beyond your professional experience, you are a proactive and entrepreneurial individual who enjoys building strong relationships and positively influencing stakeholders. You are naturally curious and continuously seek opportunities to learn, grow, and improve. You thrive in a collaborative Nordic and international environment, and you are motivated by making a meaningful difference for pets, pet owners, and veterinary professionals through your expertise and engagement.
It is a plus if you also have:
- Additional qualifications or certifications in nutrition.
- Experience from the pet care industry.
- Commercial awareness and experience working with external partners or customer-facing activities.
Why Purina?
