Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Nestlé Purina factory in Sudbury, a Manufacturing Traineeship, in areas such as Continues Excellence /Project Engineering/ Method Maintenance/ Production with opportunities to complete a rotation at one of our European Factories. 

 

On this program not only will be receive first-hand experience of working in multiple departments within factory manufacturing but you will also benefit from a structured training program run by the Nestle Purina Global team. This is a great way to put your learning into practice and experience what it’s like to be a manufacturing professional here at the largest food and beverage company in the world.

A day in the life of a Manufacturing Traineeship…

Under the guidance and mentorship of our industry experts, you’ll take an active role in real-life projects and rotate through various roles to experience everything from shift shop floor management, Total Productive Maintenance, Nestle Continues Excellence, Engineering.

 

The program is designed to enable talented individuals to participate in a stimulating, multicultural and challenging learning environment, while providing a thorough exposure within Purina.

 

Throughout the program, you will evolve in a dynamic and team spirited environment. A mentor will follow you and support your progression. You will also benefit from a range of trainings, which will allow you to develop deep knowledge in the business, acquire coaching competencies, project management skills, and much more.  And you will be part of a group of talents into the Operations Zone Europe that will allow you to build your network.

You’ll also have; 
•    Bachelor's and/or master's degree – Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Food Science are advantageous; however, this program is open to graduates from any field.
•    Previous experience working in manufacturing environment and a good understanding of Food Manufacturing Principles. 
•    Strong extra-curricular achievements that reflect a proactive attitude and ownership.
•    Passionate about being challenged daily and ready to constantly learn, develop and grow.
