We’re opening our KitKat Chocolatory Flagship Boutique in Sydney CBD.
We’re looking for Chocolatiers to join our passionate team & help us create incredible chocolate experiences!

 

Following the success and popularity of the KitKat Chocolatory Boutique in Melbourne Central, we’re excited to announce the arrival of the first permanent store in Sydney CBD.

KitKat Chocolatory allows you to experience chocolate like never before, offering our guests the opportunity to discover and create their ultimate break. Our dynamic, energetic & fun team work in an environment with a focus on delivering premium guest service, ensuring each experience is exceptional.

 
Your opportunity:

 

We're looking for casual Chocolatiers to be part of the in-boutique Kitchen Team at KitKat Chocolatory at our brand new Boutique in the heart of Sydney CBD. Essential to the creation and delivery of an innovative and globally recognised brand, you will be excited to be part of something new and eager to take ownership of delivering product excellence.
 
Working in an open kitchen, you'll join a fast paced and collaborative team who is focussed on creating amazing KitKat products for our customers' enjoyment. Flexibility is essential as hours and days can vary, due to business needs and busy periods.

 

Your daily responsibilities will include:

 

• Manual / Hand production of high quality chocolate products under the KitKat brand.
• Achieving the production, waste and profitability targets as defined in the production schedule
• Ensuring standards are per Chocolatory Quality Standards
• Ensuring cleanliness and upkeep of the kitchen
• Upholding store appearance and stock management processes
• Maintaining a strong and current knowledge of products, ingredients and services
 
You will have:

 

• Certificate IV in Patisserie or currently studying in Certificate IV in Patisserie
• A high attention to detail, good organisational skills and bring a high level of enthusiasm and commitment

Beneficial to your application, but not essential:
• Espresso machine and grinder operation, cleaning and maintenance
• Previous sales experience or a relevant qualification

Outgoing, approachable and passionate about chocolate, you’ll enjoy working as part of a close knit team delivering new products and innovative service. You’ll be motivated by delivering a world-class customer experience and exceeding guest expectations. Your previous roles will have prepared you with:
• Previous experience in the creation of chocolate products, gateaux, tortes and cakes is key to your success
• Impeccable communication skills to deliver high quality chocolate products and ensuring a world-class customer experience
• You will feel confident working in a dynamic environment managing ongoing fluctuations of customer and work volumes

 

You will:


• Be available to commence from April 2020 and have good availability 1st April – 30 June 2020.
• Be available to work across our full roster, including regular late nights and weekend trade
• Have full availability across our key trading period of Christmas
