We’re opening Sydney’s very first KITKAT store in Sydney CBD.
We’re looking for Chocolatiers to join our team of chocolate lovers at our new KITKAT CHOCOLATORY Boutique in Sydney CBD.


 
Following the success and popularity of the KitKat Chocolatory Boutique in Melbourne Central, we’re excited to announce the arrival of the first permanent store in Sydney CBD.


KitKat Chocolatory allows you to experience chocolate like never before, offering our guests the opportunity to discover and create their ultimate break. Our energetic & fun team will work in a dynamic retail environment to hand produce premium quality KITKAT products, ensuring each customer enjoys and remembers their KITKAT experience!


Your opportunity:


We're looking for a Kitchen Manager to lead the in-store Kitchen Team at KITKAT Chocolatory at our brand new Boutique in the heart of Sydney CBD. As the leader of the kitchen, working for an innovative and globally recognised brand, you will be excited to take ownership of delivering high quality, premium products and service. You’ll be a key member of a fast paced and collaborative team.

 

Your daily responsibilities will include:


• Production planning for boutique sales requirements and ensuring the team achieve output
• Maintaining a strong and current knowledge of products, ingredients and services
• Training and coaching new team members
• Ensuring cleanliness and upkeep of the kitchen
• Ensuring rostering and labour efficiency
• Upholding boutique appearance and stock management
• Adhering to food hygiene and quality standards

 

About you:

 

Outgoing, approachable and passionate about chocolate, you’ll enjoy working as part of a close knit team delivering new products and innovative service. You’ll be motivated by delivering a world-class customer experience and exceeding guest expectations.

 

Your experience and knowledge will include:

 

• Previous experience leading a busy team in a dynamic kitchen, managing ongoing fluctuations in work volumes
• Certificate IV in Patisserie or similar qualification
• Be able to hand temper chocolate and have advanced skills in working with chocolate, including ability to make moulded and hand dipped chocolates, pralines & piped fillings
• Hold a current, valid & Australian recognised Food Safety Supervisor certificate & Advanced First Aid certificate
• Delivery of premium hand crafted products
 
You will:


• Be available to commence from April 2020 and have good availability 1st April – 30 June 2020.
• Be available to work across our full roster, including regular late nights and weekend trade
• Have full availability across our key trading period of Christmas
